All about Kamloops
Plan your visit
Whether you’re visiting Kamloops for the first time or returning, we’re excited to welcome you. “Kamloops” means “meeting of the waters,” where the North and South Thompson Rivers come together. The region is enriched by the culture and traditions of more than 15 First Nations, including the Secwepemc, on whose territory TRU is established. With four distinct seasons, Kamloops is also a hub for sport, recreation and cultural events.
