Join in and celebrate our graduating students! Your assistance is essential to make this the best in-person experience possible for our graduates.
Available positions
Greeter: Directs graduates to check-in and guests to seating and helps attendees with their questions.
Guest Usher: Helps guests find their seats and directs guests with accessibility needs to the appropriate section.
Graduate Usher: Helps graduates find their next station and answers general questions.
Gowner: Pins stoles or hoods to graduates’ gowns, ensures gowns and hats are worn correctly.

Stage seating
We invite faculty and staff with convocating students to celebrate with us by sitting on stage. Faculty, staff, and administrators with a graduating child or partner are also encouraged to register for stage seating to give their loved ones a special send off! Stage seating is available on a first-come, first serve basis.

If you are participating in the academic procession, please arrive about an hour before the start of the ceremony to allow time for gowning.
If you own your academic regalia, bring it to the gowning room and someone will assist you with pinning on your hood. For faculty who do not own their regalia, black gowns and TRU hoods will be available.
