Lisa Denis, Director of Development School of Nursing and Planned Giving. Lisa has over 18 years fundraising experience in support of Healthcare and Post-Secondary education in the Kamloops community. Lisa has strong relationship building and collaboration skills and has worked in various roles at the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation raising funds for patient care equipment on large fundraising campaigns and supporting the development of planned giving programs. She joined the TRU community in January 2013 as a Director of Development for the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Education and Social Work. Lisa has also worked in the President’s Office at TRU and as the Academic Initiatives Administrative Coordinator in the Office of Quality Assurance. Lisa is responsible for supporting the School of Nursing on the strategic vision and goals and the fundraising strategies such as bolstering philanthropic support for students, research, and programming innovation needs. Lisa also leads the planned giving/legacy programs within TRU Advancement.

As the Director of Simulation Learning at Thompson Rivers University, Michael Lundin is a visionary leader in the field of clinical simulation education. With over a decade of expertise, Michael is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist and Certified Coach, dedicated to designing, implementing, and managing innovative simulation-based training programs.Michael's collaborative spirit and problem-solving skills have made him a sought-after partner for healthcare institutions, academic centers, and industry leaders. He works tirelessly to bridge the gap between theory and practice, empowering healthcare professionals through immersive learning experiences that drive excellence in patient care.

Sarah’s research explores the development of precision health through scholarship focused on nursing education, research, and practice with a focus on foundational genomic knowledge for all nurses. She works with an extensive network of national and international genomics nurse educators and researchers on several projects, including the creating of a genomics educational hub (LINKAGE) and integrating genomics into the Nurse Practitioner program at TRU. Sarah is a member of the steering committees for the Global Genomics Nursing Alliance (G2NA) and the Canadian Nursing & Genomics initiative. She is also a member of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics (ISONG) and the Nursing Genomics Project Group of the National Human Genome Research Institute’s Inter-Society Coordinating Committee for Practitioner Education in Genomics (ISCC-PEG).

As a Chairperson at Thompson Rivers University, Steven Ross, BSN, MN, is a respected leader in the field of nursing education. With a deep commitment to clinical decision-making and a passion for advocating for marginalized populations, Steven brings a wealth of practical expertise to his role.

As an Associate Professor at Thompson Rivers University, Dr. Tracy Christianson is a respected leader in the field of nursing education, with a deep passion for improving the lives of older adults and individuals living with chronic conditions.

Dr. Rani Srivastava is a respected nurse leader known for her ability to drive change through collaborative relationships and translating vision into actionable strategies across diverse stakeholder groups. As the Associate Professor and Dean of Nursing at Thompson Rivers University, and with adjunct positions at York University and Dalhousie University, she is a prominent figure in Canadian nursing education.
