How to Apply to Veterinary Technology
Applicants must submit a completed application form and required documentation by the stated deadlines below. Courses required for admission may be in progress at the time of application and indicated on an official high school or post-secondary transcript. Successful completion of all courses-in-progress, with the required grade, must be demonstrated through an updated final transcript in order to secure an offered seat in the program.
Both the campus-based and open-leaning Veterinary Technology programs have a 2-step application process. All students must complete step 1 and step 2 in order to be considered for admission.
How to Submit Transcripts
To submit high school and post-secondary transcripts (other than a TRU transcript), see Submit Your Transcript or Documents. All official transcripts must be sent to TRU directly from the issuing institution(s). Transcripts submitted by students will not be accepted as official.
If you are an Out-of-Province high school student, you must request an official transcript from the province and Ministry of Education in which you graduated.
Must meet the minimum of educational requirements to be considered for this program.
VTEC Open Learning: Any pre-requisite courses in progress MUST be completed with an official transcript submitted before Nov. 1 of the year prior to the January start date.
